Connect Google Analytics

Authorize an account, choose a GA property, and inspect traffic reports.

Connect an account

  1. Open Traffic in the project.
  2. Choose Connect on the Google Analytics card.
  3. Complete Google authorization and return to GTM.
  4. Verify that the connected account appears.

Unavailable means this deployment cannot start authorization yet; its maintainer needs to check connection configuration.

Choose a property

Select the site's property in Choose GA property and save. Authorization without selecting a property is not enough to display that site's traffic.

If the property is missing, check whether the authorized Google account has access to it.

Sync and inspect

Choose Run Traffic to refresh data. Wait for synchronization, then view the last 7 or 30 days.

For missing data, check connection state, selected property, and sync results in that order. Blank or failed results do not mean the site had no traffic.
