Task Agent troubleshooting

Check access, connections, task state, and files.

Common questions

Why can’t I start a task?
Check the current Profile and whether its plan includes Task Agent. Retry a failed model catalog load; if a model is unavailable, choose one that supports task execution.
Why is there a plan but no file?
New web conversations start with planning. Check for the action to start implementation and confirm the plan. If the finished task only contains reply text, explicitly ask for a file in the required format.
Should I resubmit after a disconnection?
Reopen the original conversation and check status first. It may still be running; resubmitting can start more work. Use Stop if you want to interrupt it.
Why can’t an Agent read a connected app?
Check connector state and the authorized account. Verify that the account itself can access the target file or project. Reconnect expired authorization; if the catalog says Unavailable, ask the administrator to inspect integration configuration.
Where is my file?
Open files from the original conversation and refresh. Verify that the Agent saved the file; if it only returned content, ask it to save a file. See the file guide.

What to include in a report

Record the product, time and timezone, Profile, session or task identifier, UI error, and expected result. Do not include API keys, credentials embedded in invocation URLs, or business secret values.
